So who is Paddy Pimblett?

To the naked eye, his baby face and long blonde hair don't scream 'fighter'. But make no mistake. Pimblett is a savage. 12 finishes in 16 victories, including flying triangles and brutal ground and pound, have seen Pimblett become one of the most hyped British prospects in recent memory.

If you want an idea of the flair Pimblett brings to the cage, just watch his fight against Alexis Savvidis at Cage Warriors 90.

Pimblett will bring plenty of mainstream appeal. Fans of The True Geordie's show 'The Knockout' on YouTube will know Paddy for his in depth analysis and hot takes. A master of the microphone - Pimblett exemplifies everything a fan would want from a fighter. He's loud, he's flashy, and he always brings his A-game every time he steps into the cage.

The candour and wit of the Scouser will attract fans from all around. Nick Peet stated that Pimblett "attracts an audience that I've never seen in 20 years of covering fight sports." With fans returning to arenas in the near future, Pimblett is adamant that he will take the UFC to Anfield. Imagine a card featuring Liverpool's finest! Pimblett, Till, McCann. The atmosphere would be unrivalled.

While we are unsure of what weight class he will debut in, should he enter the Lightweight division, Pimblett will be swimming with the sharks from day one. With fighters like Guram Kutateladze already calling for Pimblett, it will be interesting to see what direction his debut takes.
